Now

v0.5

Free tier polish and quality-of-life improvements.

Duplicate handling

Planned

Saving a URL that already exists in the same category is blocked with a clear prompt. Saving to a different category is allowed but flagged. Re-saving refreshes the title and thumbnail.

Bulk select & operations

Planned

Select multiple bookmarks at once, then bulk move to a category, bulk delete, or bulk add a tag.

Sample bookmarks on first install

Planned

A curated starter set — multiple categories, color coding, tags, and sites with strong thumbnails — so the grid looks great from the moment you install.

Dark / light theme toggle

Planned

Switch between light and dark modes from the settings dialog.

Next

Pro

Auth, sync, and payments infrastructure to ship Pro.

Cross-device sync

Planned

Your bookmarks follow you across devices. Backed by a cloud database — no more losing your setup when you switch machines.

Cloud backup & restore

Planned

Full snapshot of your bookmarks, categories, and tags stored securely in the cloud.

Pro subscriptions

Planned

Simple annual plan via Stripe. Manage or cancel anytime from a customer portal.

Later

Pro Features

Features that make Pro worth paying for.

Archive workflow

Planned

Bookmarks you save but never visit get surfaced for review. Keep the ones that still matter, archive the rest. Your grid stays useful over time — this is Snapmarks' core differentiator.

Stale bookmark detection

Planned

Not visited in 3 months? We'll nudge you to decide whether to keep it.

Dead link detection

Planned

Periodic checks for 404s and redirects. No more clicking links that go nowhere.

Rich descriptions

Planned

Auto-generated bookmark descriptions pulled from page meta or content at save time.

Custom themes & wallpapers

Planned

Make your new tab feel like yours.
